Man Milk: The Ultimate Libido Boosting Cocktail For Men

Looking for a libido boosting cocktail to supercharge your sexual efforts?

If you’re living a healthy lifestyle (eating well, sleeping well, exercising, etc.) then your sex drive should be in tip-top shape on it’s own. But there are times when you might want a little bump in your sex drive.

Maybe you’re going on a weekend long trip with your wife and want to make sure that you’ll be able to keep up with all of the hanky-panky. Maybe you are going on a third or fourth date with a new partner, you feel like sexy-times are impending, and you want to make sure that you’ll be able to rise to the occasion. Or maybe you need a burst of sexual and creative energy to get through a big work push.

Whatever your reasoning, I have concocted a superfood, hormone-balancing, libido boosting cocktail that really puts the pep in your penis’s step.

I have passed around this exact recipe to friends and clients of all ages and it consistently gets them noticeable results (in terms of their sex drive, and overall energy levels). You will feel this! So don’t say I didn’t warn you.

If you use every ingredient on this list, the total cost probably ends up being about $7-10 per drink. So this might not be a libation that you’re consuming on a daily basis (especially with how powerful it is), but it’s great in a pinch when you need the boost.

Without further ado, here is the ultimate libido boosting cocktail for men.

The Ultimate Libido Boosting Cocktail For Men

Step 1: Soak your nuts

Just like cooking any regular foods makes them more bio-available (read: digestible) for your stomach, so too does soaking tree nuts before you consume them.

So take your favourite kind of nut (almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc.) and soak them in a bowl of water, in your fridge, for at least ten hours (12+ hours is ideal). The reason you want to soak your nuts in your fridge is because raw tree nuts can often be contaminated with pathogens, and you don’t want those suckers multiplying, which they do at temperature.

Soaking your nuts overnight is a good habit to get into. Simply put your batch of nuts in a bowl of water after you have your evening meal, and they’ll be good to go by the time you want to slurp up your libido boosting cocktail in the morning.

Step 2: Shake your nuts around vigorously 

In a blender.

Alright, I’ll ease off on the half-baked euphemisms. 

Once you’ve soaked your nuts, put them in a high powered blender (with water) and blend them until they’re completely broken down. Personally, I love the Vitamix blender more than any other option on the market. It isn’t cheap, but it will last you for at least a decade and will increase the volume of nutrients that you consume on a day to day basis exponentially. 

Whatever blender you use, it should be powerful enough so that you don’t have to chew your way through your drink. It should be broken down completely, into a completely liquid state (which a Vitamix, Blendtec, etc. blender can achieve).

Step 3: Add your supplements

Once you have your nut milk good and easy to drink, it’s time to add a plethora of powders.

While you definitely get a libido bump from the nuts, fats, proteins, and core foundational elements in this libido boosting cocktail, a lot of the sexual magic comes from these potent powders.

Maca powder

Maca is a root vegetable that has been proven to positively impact sex drive in both men and women. This positive effect lasts for approximately eight weeks before hitting a plateau (which isn’t to say that it stops being effective, but rather that the boost in sex drive will be at a new, higher high).

Put 1-2 tablespoons of organic maca powder in to your blender. Yellow, red, or black maca all work the same for sexual function.

Cacao powder

Cacao powder (or cacao nibs) are good for your heart, good for your circulation, positively impact cholesterol levels, and give you a good amount of fibre so your poops will be healthy and regular.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of cacao powder to taste.

Pine pollen

Oooooh boy, more good stuff comin’ your way!

Personally, maca powder and pine pollen are the ones that my body responds the most strongly to.

Just like the name suggests, pine pollen is basically tree sperm. And it has been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine, and for good reason. It contains over 200 bioactive nutrients including 20 amino acids. It packs a powerful punch, and you’ll feel it.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of this goodness into your blender, and mix it up.

Athletic Greens

Athletic Greens is my most frequently used greens powder because of a) how comprehensive it is, b) how good it tastes, and c) the ingredient quality.

Instead of taking a food-based multivitamin, I consume Athletic Greens on a daily basis and I basically haven’t gotten sick since I started. It’s good stuff.

Add 1 tablespoon of Athletic Greens to your blender.

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D may play a role in the production of testosterone levels. And a good percentage of people in developed nations are vitamin D deficient, so it’s a good supplement to be taking with fat regardless.

Put 3,000 IU (2-3 drops) of liquid vitamin D3 in your blender, or just drop it straight under your tongue and let it absorb while you’re blending up your drink.

Step 4: Add your fats

No libido boosting cocktail could possibly be complete without fats! Your hormonal balance will suffer if you aren’t regularly consuming a good amount of healthy fats.

For this section, pick one or two of your favourite fat sources. You want to do this to taste. The point is not to use all of the fat sources in this list, just a couple.

MCT Oil

MCT oil (MCT standing for medium chain triglycerides) are triglycerides whose fatty acids have an aliphatic tail of 6–12 carbon atoms. The fatty acids found in medium chain triglycerides are called medium-chain fatty acids. And MCT oil is most commonly comprised of processed coconut. But what really matters for your purposes is that this is some healthy fat that you can easily squirt out of a bottle. Quick and easy, no clean up. No dirty spoon.

Squirt 1-2 tablespoons of this stuff into your blender and you’re off to the races.

Coconut oil

Are you a fan of the creaminess that comes from drinking coconut oil? Toss a heaping tablespoon of this stuff into your smoothie instead of MCT oil (since they’re almost identical).

Grass fed ghee

Love the taste and smell of butter, but you’re sensitive to dairy? A high quality grass fed ghee can work wonders for your libido boosting cocktail.

Grass fed butter

No sensitivity to dairy, you love butter, and the brain bump that comes from ingesting fats early in the morning? Then there’s no reason to hold back. Toss a small slab of grass fed butter into your blender.

Avocado

Avocado provides a different kind of creaminess/texture than butter or coconut oil does. It makes your smoothie a bit heavier/thicker, and some people love it. Toss in half of an avocado, or a full small one if you’re looking for 300-400 calorie bump.

Step 5: Add your protein

Just like most people are vitamin D deficient, a high percentage of people are also protein deficient. 

The most common and noticeable signs of protein deficiency are chronic hunger, depression/chronic bad mood, fatigue, fluid retention, and difficulty keeping muscle mass.

For good measure, toss in 1-3 kinds of protein into your superfood cocktail. Our bodies can only absorb so much protein within a certain time window, so don’t overdo it and throw 100 grams of protein in. If you’re going to use all three of the methods listed below, use a small amount of each.

Collagen protein

Not only is collagen protein amazing for your skin, nails, hair, but it also eases joint pain, improves digestive health, and helps you to burn fat.

I put in 1-2 tablespoons of collagen protein in my morning drink every day, regardless of whether it’s a smoothie, tea, or man milk concoction. 

Plant based protein powder (or whey)

Everyone’s bodies respond differently to different types and brands of protein powder, so there’s no one size fits all solution here.

Personally, I’ve always found plant based, fermented protein powders to be the most easily digested.

But if you’re one of the lucky one who doesn’t respond negatively to whey based proteins (which generally tend to be cheaper than most plant based brands), then go for it.

Anywhere from 20-40 grams of protein powder should work for you depending on your overall size/mass.

Whole pastured eggs (optional)

If you want to bulk up like Arnold, throw in a raw pastured egg or two. Yes, include both the egg white and the yolk (since most of the nutrients live inside of the yolk). 

If the idea of raw eggs in your drink grosses you out (or you don’t want to take the minuscule risk of salmonella poisoning because you don’t trust your countries standards around eggs), then no worries. It’s entirely optional.

Step 6: Add anything else to taste

With all of these powders and base ingredients, some people can find the overall taste to be a bit bland (or too nutty, or too whatever).

This libido boosting cocktail should be enjoyable for you to drink! Otherwise you probably won’t make it a priority in your routine.

Feel free to add whatever else you wish to calibrate it to your pallet (without going too far overboard on adding sugar, since that can have inverse effects on testosterone production and overall health).

You can add dark chocolate, blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries in small amounts… cinnamon, sea salt, cardamom, nutmeg, etc.

The sky’s the limit!

Step 7: Enjoy!

Blend it all up until smooth and creamy, and then either drink it hot, cold, or room temperature. Put it in a coffee mug, shaker bottle, or just a regular glass. Again, make it an enjoyable experience for whatever you need it to be.

The Quick And Dirty Version Of The Libido Boosting Cocktail

If you don’t have the time to soak your nuts overnight and/or you don’t have a blender, the quick and dirty equivalent of this drink (as I make it) it as follows:

Put 1-2 tablespoons (each) of maca, pine pollen, Athletic Greens, collagen, and water (or store-bought almond milk) in a shaker bottle. Shake it all up until the powder’s have all dissolved. Grab it and go. Take it to the gym, or your business meeting, or wherever your sexy life takes you. No blender required.
