Does This Blowjob Robot Live Up To Its Hype? (Autoblow 2 Review)

Have you ever heard of the Autoblow 2? It’s a blowjob robot that really delivers.

The Autoblow 2 might be the most well-known male sex toy in the world. Since reviewing the Tenga Flip Hole (and dubbing it the best sex toy for men in the world), I have had more requests from people to review the Autoblow 2 than any other sex toy on the market.

The Autoblow 2 received nearly $400,000 in crowdfunding on Indiegogo, being backed by more than 3,000 funders.

I mean, that amount of early momentum is fairly understandable…

The idea of a sex toy doing all of the work for you, and the ‘work’ feeling akin to a blowjob from a real, live sexual partner? That’s quite a strong pitch.

I ordered one of these devices to put it to the test, and the results were pretty amazing.

Autoblow 2 Out Of The Box

The packaging was well designed enough. It arrived quickly, and in good condition.

To be honest I didn’t think about the branding that much as I was just excited to unbox it and stick my penis in it.

So I snapped the above photo and went to my bedroom to try out the goods.

Upon unboxing the Autoblow 2, my first thought was “This looks like a large thermos you would bring to the beach for a picnic in the summer.”

The device definitely isn’t small. It is 8.6 inches/22 cm tall, and the diameter of the device is 4 inches/10 cm. So it isn’t ridiculously massive, but it definitely isn’t as small as the Tenga products that I have come to know and love.

Autoblow 2 Initial Impressions

I was pleased with how easy it was to setup.

You simply take one of the removable sleeves, drop it into the device, and then pour a few drops of lube into the sleeve.

Inside of the device, several rows of beads move up and down, gripping the outside of the sleeve, to stimulate your penis in a blowjob-like fashion.

Obviously removable sleeves make for easy cleanup, since no lube ever comes in contact with the device itself.

One downside to the inside of the sleeve is that there is zero internal ribbing or texture. Just a characterless, smooth plastic-y feel. I.e. more Fleshlight, less Tenga.

One upside is that the device doesn’t run on batteries. It plugs into a wall outlet (which means you have to be within ten feet of an outlet, which most beds are).

On the underside of the device is the dimmer switch that allows you to speed up or slow down the stroking pace of the internal beads. The speed ranges from a slow, casual edging pace, to ‘the-fastest-your-windshield-wipers-could-possibly-go’ speedy.

How Does The Autoblow 2 Feel?

Ahhh the million dollar question… how does this little kitchen-appliance-of-the-masturbatory-world actually feel?

Honestly, it feels pretty decent.

Once I got the angle right, and found a speed that I enjoyed, I was surprised at how pleasurable the toy was.

In fact, the first words out of my mouth when I first tried it were, “Oh… okay… shit.” And that was said in a very good way. I was very pleasantly surprised with how it felt.  (Edit: double-y so with the new Autoblow A.I. which feels even better, and is even quieter… with new modes that are super fun to play around with)

It delivers a pleasurable touch that focuses mainly on the top half of your penis.

If you don’t mind the noise (which, as other online reviewers have stated, really does sound like windshield wipers), the device will be able to deliver a slow build orgasm for most users.

Downsides:

a bit noisy, no internal ribbing, not truly hands free.

Benefits/upsides: feels great, no batteries, very robust build and long motor life (1,000+ hours), relatively hands free (if you sandwich the device between your thighs or lie on your side), great for edging / slow build orgasms.

All in all, within my first few sessions of using the Autoblow 2, I really enjoyed my time with it, and I started to feel the sensation even more a few minutes into it. So it got even better with time.

Who I Would Recommend The Autoblow 2 For

I could see using this for extended edging sessions, because it feels great, and you can manually set the speed.

Autoblow 2 Review Final Verdict

In a macro level sense, I’m really glad that toys like this even exist.

Why? Because, like it or not, men using sex toys for their own pleasure is still heavily stigmatized in the minds of most men.

Women owning vibrators and other sex toys is exceedingly common, and most people see little to no issue with this reality. But I have never once heard a guy friend of mine talking about using a sex toy publicly (and I’m a sex coach who talks about my sex toy use often, so I’m a safe space to discuss these things and it still doesn’t come up).

The way that I see it, the more the world invests in sex toys for men (be they Fleshlights, Tenga Flip Hole‘s, Autoblow 2’s, etc.), the more deserving of sexual pleasure men feel from a variety of sources, the less dependent they feel on women being the sole deliverer of sexual satisfaction in their lives, and the more likely they are to lead happy, fulfilling, and diverse sex lives.

My final review of the Autoblow 2 comes down to this:

I still love the Tenga Flip Hole and Tenga Flip Zero a bit more, but this toy would be great for people who really want to be hands-off in their self-pleasuring practice.

And I’m happy for what this toy means for the future of male sex toys to come.

Dedicated to your success,

Jordan

This Is The One Thing You Always Have Control Over
We really can’t control much of anything in our funny little lives. We grasp for control. We grasp for meaning. We grasp for a semblance of purpose in everything that we do. 5 Things I Learned From Years In BDSM That Can Make Any Sex Life Thrive
From 2009 to 2015 I was heavily involved in the world of kink and BDSM. Why, you ask? The short answer is that I was a long-term recovering ‘nice guy’ (aka I was a doormat when it came to women) who was perpetually afraid of being seen as even slightly sexually aggressive. Because of this aspect of...
